Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics fault finding and possess hands-on experience with RF testing and troubleshooting. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and be part of a fast-paced environment where problem-solving skills are paramount.
As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for the testing and fault finding of electronic systems, with a focus on RF amplifiers and related components. You will use your technical expertise to identify, diagnose, and resolve faults at both the system level and component level.
Primary responsibilities:
· Ensure all customer requirements are met within the company’s ethos of ‘Zero defects, remember why’.
· Conduct system-level testing and fault finding on electronic and RF equipment.
· Perform RF testing and fault finding, particularly related to RF amplifiers, circuits, and subsystems.
· Use your understanding of electronic schematics to troubleshoot and repair complex systems.
· Accurately document test results, issues, and corrective actions in detailed reports
· Using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, network analysers, and signal generators.
Minimum requirements:
· Must be able to pass BPSS clearance
· Must have settled status in the UK
· Computer literate
· Proven experience in electronics fault finding
· Strong understanding of electronic schematics and circuit design
· Familiarity with RF testing and RF-related components (e.g., amplifiers, filters, etc.)
· Comfortable with testing RF amplifiers and troubleshooting RF circuits
· Competency in using electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, signal generators, etc.)
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail
· Strong communication skills and ability to produce detailed reports
· Enthusiastic and passionate about electronics and RF technology.
Working hours 8.30am-5pm, Monday – Friday
