A proud milestone for SIRIM QAS International as our Penang laboratory achieves A2LA accreditation for technical competence in Radio Frequency (RF) and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing, in accordance with the internationally recognised ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standard.

The laboratory is also home to the only 10-metre Semi-Anechoic Chamber in Malaysia, strengthening our capacity to support manufacturers in demonstrating product compliance and meeting local and international market requirements.

To commemorate this achievement, we were honoured to welcome members of the SIRIM Board of Directors, including Datuk Ir. Dr. Khairol Anuar Mohamad Tawi, Chairman of SIRIM, and Mohammad Asri Hassan Sabri, as well as the top management of SIRIM and SIRIM QAS International.
