Bureau Veritas, world’s leader in audits, testing and inspection, is sponsoring the EMC Fest 2024 taking place May 16, 2024 in Livonia, Michigan. EMC Fest is a one day event featuring an EMC Tutorial and Exhibition. This event is sponsored by the Southeastern Michigan EMC Society Chapter which serves electrical and electronics engineers in Southeastern Michigan. Jason Kanakry, Bureau Veritas Auburn Hills General Manager, will be in attendance at this event.

On Thursday, May 16, 2024, the program begins with the setup of vendor tables, followed by registration and exhibits. A continental breakfast is served before the sessions commence. Topics include “Resonant Structures in PCBs and Systems” led by Doug Smith, addressing ESD issues, troubleshooting, and safety concerns. Lunch is provided before sessions on characterizing and troubleshooting board-level EMI, as well as benchtop troubleshooting of ESD and radiated immunity failures, both led by Ken Wyatt. The day concludes with a reception and the close of EMC Fest.
