EMI/EMC Testing Technology

EXCEEDING THE STANDARDS

Commercial and defense electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing communities rely on APELC’s proven solutions, which meet, and in many cases, exceed U.S. Department of Defense’s (DoD) MIL-STD and IEC requirements.

Threat-level waveforms are difficult and expensive to reproduce due to their high levels and specific requirements. Through our focused expertise and specialized approach targeting our customers’ individual needs, APELC develops accurate, affordable, and easy-to-use high-power coverage and high-altitude electromagnetic pulse (HEMP) testing solutions.

APELC goes beyond basic regulatory requirements, offering additional features to accommodate our customers’ specific requirements in the field, including:

  • Accurate replication of threat-level waveforms
  • HEMP and NEMP wideband sources
  • High peak power testing
  • Compact and portable packaging
  • Short set-up times

KEY TEST STANDARDS

Select your MIL STD to identify the solution that best supports your needs.

MIL-STD 461 (RS-105)

APELC’s RS-105 radiated susceptibility testing systems feature permanent or removable designs, computer-based controls with data acquisition, measurement and reporting, and requiring only dry-air insulation on the Marx MIL-STD 461 (RS-105) establishes requirements for electromagnetic interference (EMI) emissions control and susceptibility characteristics of electronic, electrical, and electromechanical equipment and subsystems.
