Full job description
Primary Purpose of Position
To be the Radio Frequency Test Technician for Glenair UK RF assemblies and help to develop the capability of the RF test team that supports the RF market. To work with the Production Control Manager and Technical Support Manager to technically support the team as needed.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of RF Testing and training, with a focus on the VNA’s.
- Liaise with the calibration team to ensure all equipment is suitable for production use
- Work alongside the RF team to develop world-class RF testing processes.
- Ensure any new processes comply with quality and health and safety procedures.
- Compile work instructions and documentation support.
- Trouble shooting and diagnosis issues during testing.
- Play an integral role in developing World Class operations.
Person Specification
- Must have experience within manufacturing of design, implementation, commissioning and running automation and semi-automation systems.
- Experience in the use of all Microsoft Office packages
