A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an RF Systems Lead Engineer. You will be responsible for leading data link systems engineering work on a new weapons system programme, interfacing with both suppliers and customers, and providing technical leadership for junior RF systems engineers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Salary<\/strong>: Circa \u00a35<em>0,000<\/em> depending on experience<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dynamic (hybrid) working<\/strong>: typically <em>3<\/em> days per week on-site due to workload classification<\/p>\n<p><strong>Security Clearance<\/strong>: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship.<\/p>\n<p>Restrictions and\/or limitations relating to nationality and\/or rights to work may apply. You will be responsible for coordinating the systems engineering aspects of the project, including supporting bids, defining the system architecture, and managing development activities such as requirements management, system modelling management, and system proving plans (V&amp;V). You will lead a small team of RF systems engineers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What we&#8217;re looking for from you: <\/strong>You will have an understanding of RF technologies, and system level design considerations for RF communication system. Ideally, you will be degree qualified in a STEM subject. You will have a strong background in systems engineering across the full product life cycle together with experience of managing suppliers. Customer facing skills are also highly desirable.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re looking for you to have an ability to work autonomously within a multi-skilled team with a good understanding and commitment to achieving project goals. You should also be able to perform technical investigations, provide problem assessments, and propose design solutions within a culture of innovative thinking.<\/p>\n<p>We are looking for <strong>some<\/strong> of the following skills:<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ab5b415e _43ba480a\">\n<li>Managing internal suppliers, and external suppliers<\/li>\n<li>Work package management<\/li>\n<li>Technical leadership of junior engineers<\/li>\n<li>Systems design methodologies<\/li>\n<li>Requirements definition and management<\/li>\n<li>Leading design reviews across the product lifecycle<\/li>\n<li>Overseeing the transition of development hardware into production<\/li>\n<li>Leading technical investigations<\/li>\n<li>Experience with proving and validation<\/li>\n<li>Configuration management<\/li>\n<li>Awareness of simulation tools: Architecture (SysML) \/ performance modelling (MATLAB)<\/li>\n<li>Experience working within an international team<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of RF communication principals and design<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"f44a3832 _5dd8419e _5a1db1b3 _90ce17e2 _010ec096 _5331e2e8 fc34027e _53f57f34 _88a2d101\"><span class=\"b98df014 f194b381\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\"><strong>Our company: Peace is not a given, Freedom is not a given, Sovereignty is not a given <\/strong>MBDA is a leading defence organisation.
