Thus, <em>experience of UKAS audits and looking after the day to day running and capability enhancement and maintenance of an EMC test facility is essential. <\/em>The successful applicant will be working in the ISP business unit\u2019s Environmental test group as part of the Design Integrity Function under the Environmental Test Lab Manager.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Your impact <\/strong>This role is to provide EMC \/ TEMPEST design, development and test support to projects; this includes the development of EMC \/ TEMPEST requirements and providing robust cost-effective solutions. Customer and supplier liaison is also key to ensure the minimisation of through life EMC cost while offering an innovative and robust solution to our customers\u2019 needs. The production of EMC \/ TEMPEST documentation for projects will be necessary along with approving suppliers\u2019 documentation and test results. EMC testing forms a major part of the role, both in house and at external EMC test house (possibly at remote locations). The successful applicant will support the Basildon test facility UKAS audit schedule and accreditation. Other duties include EMC test house and equipment maintenance duties.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibility Areas <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"cb2b83b2 _8a096106\">\n<li>Design for EMC &amp; TEMPEST.<\/li>\n<li>Development of EMC &amp; TEMPEST requirements from legislation and top-level system specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Production of EMC &amp; TEMPEST Plans for complex systems and components.<\/li>\n<li>Supplier management for control of EMC design at sub-tier suppliers.<\/li>\n<li>In house EMC testing<\/li>\n<li>External EMC and TEMPEST testing<\/li>\n<li>Production of in-house test procedures and reports<\/li>\n<li>Definition of test requirements<\/li>\n<li>Provision of technical support for resolving EMC &amp; TEMPEST issues<\/li>\n<li>Representing the test facility at design reviews and phase reviews to provide specialist input<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the test facility\u2019s UKAS certification<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"da505d60 _4939c411 _8bc10e36 a876a5d2 _15339936 _0e3e0070 _213b655e e0678145 _8f0cfd93\"><span class=\"f9aec964 _3ff41042\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\"><strong>Skills, Qualifications &amp; Knowledge <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"cb2b83b2 _8a096106\">\n<li>Minimum of BEng.
