We have a great opportunity to work on an exciting and challenging antenna development program within MBDA. <\/strong><strong>Salary<\/strong>: Circa \u00a355,000 depending on experience<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dynamic (hybrid) working<\/strong>: On average <em>4<\/em> days per week on-site due to workload classification<\/p>\n<p><strong>Security Clearance<\/strong>: Sole UK nationals only. Restrictions and\/or limitations relating to nationality and\/or rights to work may apply. You&#8217;ll engage in computer modelling, prototype build and test, and collaborate with suppliers, presenting results to project stakeholders. This role offers a chance to work on cutting-edge antenna technology for the next generation of MBDA products. Exciting opportunities await in this fast-paced and innovative industry.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Your role will involve: <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"cb2b83b2 _8a096106\">\n<li>Detailed design of novel antennas for multi-mode seekers based on wideband active and passive sensors, exploiting the latest development in additive layer manufacturing.<\/li>\n<li>Developing solutions to support higher level product developments considering constraints such as limited space and harsh operating environments<\/li>\n<li>Electromagnetic modelling in Ansys HFSS, complex simulations of antenna structures and post-processing data using MATLAB<\/li>\n<li>Anechoic chamber testing and overseeing the transition of development hardware in to pre-production parts<\/li>\n<li>Working cross-functionally with RF Engineers, Seeker Systems teams, EO &amp; IR Sensors teams among others<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"da505d60 _4939c411 _8bc10e36 a876a5d2 _15339936 _0e3e0070 _213b655e e0678145 _8f0cfd93\"><span class=\"f9aec964 _3ff41042\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\"><strong>What we&#8217;re looking for from you: <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"cb2b83b2 _8a096106\">\n<li>Antenna design and development experience<\/li>\n<li>Electromagnetic simulation knowledge using tools such as Ansys HFSS or CST Studio<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of microwave frequencies ideally UHF and frequencies in excess of X-band<\/li>\n<li>Good ability in the use of MATLAB<\/li>\n<li>Degree or higher level qualification or equivalent experience<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"da505d60 _4939c411 _8bc10e36 a876a5d2 _15339936 _0e3e0070 _213b655e e0678145 _8f0cfd93\"><span class=\"f9aec964 _3ff41042\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\"><strong>Our company: Peace is not a given, Freedom is not a given, Sovereignty is not a given <\/strong>MBDA is a leading defence organisation.
