This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise, a hands-on approach, and a passion for innovation.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead RF design projects from initial concept through to final production<\/li>\n<li>Design complex RF and microwave circuits \u2013 with a particular focus on amplifiers <em>(essential)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Develop power supply solutions to drive the RF chain from a single voltage input <em>(essential)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Integrate RF components into larger systems, ensuring functionality and performance<\/li>\n<li>Use advanced simulation tools (e.g. CST, MWO) to model, test and optimise circuit designs<\/li>\n<li>Oversee prototyping and testing using RF and microwave test equipment<\/li>\n<li>Produce detailed technical documentation \u2013 including specifications, test plans, and reports<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production and engineering, to meet deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Research and apply new technologies and techniques to keep designs at the cutting edge<\/li>\n<li>(Nice to have) Engage with customers to understand requirements and provide technical support<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>What You\u2019ll Bring<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Education:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven experience in RF design and project leadership<\/li>\n<li>Strong background in RF PCB layout and circuit design<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with relevant regulatory standards and certification processes<\/li>\n<li>Excellent problem-solving skills and technical curiosity<\/li>\n<li>Clear written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>About Microwave Amps<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Microwave Amps is a Bristol-based engineering company specialising in cutting-edge microwave and RF technology.
