This role will ensure that engineering deliverables are executed and understood to meet contractual requirements, industry standards, and company expectations. The position involves working cross-functionally with multi-functional teams to ensure you help the client design, procure, install, test, commission and maintain a diverse set of satcom terminals at their critical sites across UK projects.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Primary Responsibilities <\/strong>Leads the Antenna and RF engineering outputs for UK programmes:<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"f1e6b4a5 _7cd1b46d\">\n<li>Interfacing with cross-functional matrixed organisations engaged in delivery of the multiple programmes to provide antenna and RF domain experience and knowledge required for UK Programmes.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for managing system engineering deliverables of all antenna and RF projects: requirements capture and analysis, standards and compliance review of design and producing required design documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Analyzing requirements and designs to develop successful action plans.<\/li>\n<li>Manage technical response and technical compliance for designs, including internal commercial approvals.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise between SES vendor management teams and vendors to manage technical compliance and meet customer deliverables.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborates with UK programmes internal and external teams to achieve performance and conformance within the UK programmes area.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"eb7256ab b1a6cf12 _3da5b139 _62bb4831 _01b04366 _266f27cb _081f0e77 b9d8ef4e _316564f0\"><span class=\"_7b461984 af65327d\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\"><strong>Qualifications <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"f1e6b4a5 _7cd1b46d\">\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Engineering, Technical or related field.<\/li>\n<li>7 years of experience in engineering, defence, and SATCOM.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of ground station equipment to include up and down converters, power amplifiers, receivers, and other antenna elements; low-voltage power distribution, backup battery, generator systems, and international electrical standards.<\/li>\n<li>In-depth knowledge of Systems Engineering on large and\/or complex engineering projects.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with defence contracts, governance, and transition projects.<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work cross-functionally with Service Delivery, Service Operations, Engineering, and Operations teams.<\/li>\n<li>Valid UK Security Clearance required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"eb7256ab b1a6cf12 _3da5b139 _62bb4831 _01b04366 _266f27cb _081f0e77 b9d8ef4e _316564f0\"><span class=\"_7b461984 af65327d\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\">Preferable competencies<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"f1e6b4a5 _7cd1b46d\">\n<li>Experience with ISO standards, DEFCONs, DEFSTANs and JSPs.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with various requirement and document management tools such as DOORs, AzureDevOps.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of RF fundamentals.<\/li>\n<li>Technical knowledge of SATCOM systems and operations.<\/li>\n<li>A willingness to take ownership of a situation and lead commercial discussions with cross disciplinary teams with multiple priorities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"eb7256ab b1a6cf12 _3da5b139 _62bb4831 _01b04366 _266f27cb _081f0e77 b9d8ef4e _316564f0\"><span class=\"_7b461984 af65327d\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\">SES and its Affiliated Companies are committed to providing fair and equal employment opportunities to all.
