verification activities at hardware and system level<\/li>\n<li>Keeping designs under configuration control<\/li>\n<li>Providing progress reports<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"_0b0793cb c33da4c6 bf5ce2f1 d3e4cf96 _16d086f0 f388c1c5 e41563ff ffd1c173 _62e1dd3a\"><span class=\"_7a23ec3b _2c8fd5aa\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\"><strong>Essential <\/strong><strong>Work Experience <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"f78a898c _9153b0a6\">\n<li>Microwave PCB materials &amp; design techniques<\/li>\n<li>Microwave Sub-System design<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of microwave power amplifier design &amp; technology<\/li>\n<li>Design of complex microwave switch matrix<\/li>\n<li>Application of microwave GaAs\/ GaN MMICs<\/li>\n<li>Design of complex passive microwave structures<\/li>\n<li>S-parameter manipulation<\/li>\n<li>EM 3D and 2D simulation techniques<\/li>\n<li>Non-linear circuit simulation and modelling<\/li>\n<li>Matching network design<\/li>\n<li>Microwave component selection<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of Radar \/ RF Systems, including experience of Frequency synthesizer design, Receiver architectures and design, General RF and Microwave PCB-level design with COTS active &amp; passive components<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in one or more of the following RF \/ Microwave design tools:- AWR Microwave office, CST Microwave studio, Keysight (Agilent) ADS, or AWR Visual System Simulator<\/li>\n<li>Ability to analyse system requirements and derive detailed hardware requirements<\/li>\n<li>Experience of debugging &amp; testing new RF \/ Microwave circuit designs<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience of the full hardware design lifecycle and presenting designs for peer\/ formal design reviews<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated, with an aptitude to problem solve and drive difficult issues to conclusion<\/li>\n<li>Ability to coordinate day to day technical activities, liaising closely with the Project Engineering Lead, Lead RF \/ Microwave engineer &amp; other engineering disciplines<\/li>\n<li>Experience of liaising with Manufacturing \/ Production colleagues and external suppliers of key components and assemblies<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication (oral &amp;
