Our legacy of innovation and engineering excellence has positioned us at the forefront of advanced connectivity solutions worldwide, and we continue to grow as we deliver cutting-edge technology for some of the most exciting programmes in the industry.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of this role is to <strong>deliver comprehensive and strategic microwave filter engineering leadership<\/strong> throughout the entirety of RF and Microwave Filter projects, ensuring excellence from initial concept through to final execution. This role encompasses <strong>oversight and guidance in all phases of project development<\/strong>, facilitating seamless collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal results.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Summary of Responsibilities: <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"c9c4f7f2 _9fe79f66\">\n<li>Take full responsibility for all aspects of filter and sub-system design, including simulation, prototyping and validation<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to Research and Development into next generation filter solutions<\/li>\n<li>Support Sales functions during the quotation phases including technical correspondence with customers<\/li>\n<li>Compile and verify design documentation, such as design logbooks, data packs, peer reviews in preparation for design release and production<\/li>\n<li>Deliver fully verified and documented designs in line with project-defined technical, schedule and cost constraints<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and review tollgate documentation in accordance with Filtronic \u2018New Product Introduction&#8217; (NPI) procedures<\/li>\n<li>Proactively participate in design reviews, and initiate design reviews to mitigate risk when appropriate<\/li>\n<li>Conduct all aspects of design verification and validation including preparation of test specifications, test reports and reliability testing\/evaluation<\/li>\n<li>Maintain an up-to-date, comprehensive design compliance matrix, referencing robust evidence of compliance data for assigned designs<\/li>\n<li>Solve problems and diagnose faults in manufactured products during product introduction &#8211; including defining and training-out diagnostic procedures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"_5b8a0e03 _56de91f4 e824e5c9 _383c5e17 _13eb1d68 _04ce3f58 _00ffa414 c0b6e90e e7d21d8f\"><span class=\"f0a2e64d _6ff53a83\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\"><strong>Requirements <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"c9c4f7f2 _9fe79f66\">\n<li>Relevant Degree (or equivalent) preferably in RF\/Microwave Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in using RF design tools such as Microwave Office, and CST Studio and Spark3D<\/li>\n<li>Significant experience of RF and Microwave Filter design including tolerance\/yield analysis, power handling \/ temperature drift assessment, MTBF calculations and DFM<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrable hands-on experience of tuning RF and microwave filters using VNA&#8217;s, power handling and temperature tests<\/li>\n<li>Must be a highly motivated individual able to interface effectively with internal and external customers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"_5b8a0e03 _56de91f4 e824e5c9 _383c5e17 _13eb1d68 _04ce3f58 _00ffa414 c0b6e90e e7d21d8f\"><span class=\"f0a2e64d _6ff53a83\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\"><strong>Benefits <\/strong>We recognise the value of exceptional talent.
