In this position, you\u2019ll work closely with our Site Management team and our global network of Vendors, contributing directly to our ongoing projects and initiatives. You want to make a real difference in the world by revolutionizing technology in Space.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What You\u2019ll Do:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Antenna Field Engineer will be responsible to support operation, troubleshooting and diagnosis of field-related trouble calls, and issues associated with earth station and satellite network systems. The position requires a system-level understanding of the principles of satellite RF communications including Ku-Band and Ka plus familiarity with the following equipment is desirable: LEO tracking antennas, Antenna Control Units (ACU)s, transmitters, antennas, antenna controls, motors, resolvers, LNAs, encoders, 3-phase power, signal routing, fiber optics. The position also requires basic knowledge of network communications. The candidate will need the ability to read schematic, technical documents and wiring diagrams and create technical procedures. They will also require experience in using a ticketing system and documenting their work within.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Primary Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Test, troubleshooting, commissioning and continuing support of Satellite Network Portals (SNP) build out and operation.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Support of installation, commissioning, and integration with OneWeb Partners<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Knowledge of rack integration, cable fabrication, cable terminations and interconnect wiring diagrams<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Optimizing earth station antennas performing antenna patterns, G\/T, and overall functionality<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Ability to configure and test IP based network equipment and peripherals.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What You&#8217;ll Need:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"_89d2b19b _5d67558c\">\n<li>Strong knowledge of <strong>satellite RF communications<\/strong> (Ku\/Ka-Band)<\/li>\n<li>Experience with LEO antennas, ACUs, RF components, and fiber systems<\/li>\n<li>Basic understanding of <strong>IP networking<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience in <strong>testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning<\/strong> satellite or earth station systems<\/li>\n<li>Experience with installation, integration, and field support activities<\/li>\n<li>Skills in rack integration, cabling, and interconnections<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with ticketing systems and technical reporting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Where You\u2019ll Work: London, Paris, Turin or Cagliari (with travel in Europe up to 70% of time)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Eutelsat Group treats the protection of personal data submitted to it seriously.
