This role is pivotal in leading the design, development, and delivery of high-performance RF and microwave systems for aerospace, defence, and space applications. You will combine deep technical expertise with leadership responsibility, guiding a team of RF engineers while ensuring robust, innovative, and manufacturable solutions are delivered across the full product lifecycle.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"_08271f93 _069e4e3a\">\n<li>Lead the design and development of advanced RF circuits, subsystems, and system architectures.<\/li>\n<li>Define RF system architectures including cascade analysis and link budgets for radar, telemetry, and communication systems.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee simulation and validation activities using industry-standard tools (e.g. ADS, AWR, HFSS, CST, MATLAB).<\/li>\n<li>Ensure RF designs meet requirements for performance, manufacturability, reliability, and environmental constraints.<\/li>\n<li>Act as technical authority for RF engineering across projects, supporting design reviews (PDR, CDR, TRR).<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems, mechanical, manufacturing, and quality engineering.<\/li>\n<li>Support new product introduction (NPI) activities, ensuring smooth transition from design to production.<\/li>\n<li>Lead and line-manage a team of RF engineers and technicians, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to bid and proposal activities through technical input, estimation, and risk assessment.<\/li>\n<li>Engage with customers and external partners to understand requirements and maintain strong technical relationships.<\/li>\n<li>Drive continuous improvement in RF design methodologies, tools, and engineering practices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"e64bb4ed _46033392 _73be43df _66a8af91 _4a08a94c b78d7723 ef05bed5 dcdd36e4 _8977b0f9 _4cb0cc49 _7abd457f\"><span class=\"_5b903a0e _95692cfb\" tabindex=\"-1\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\"><strong>Required Qualifications &amp; Experience <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"_08271f93 _069e4e3a\">\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.<\/li>\n<li>Extensive experience in RF and microwave engineering, including circuit design, simulation, and system integration.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience delivering RF engineering projects within aerospace, defence, or similar high-reliability industries.<\/li>\n<li>Strong hands-on experience with RF simulation tools and laboratory test equipment (e.g. VNAs, spectrum analysers).<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience in leading technical teams and managing engineering activities.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with product development lifecycles and regulated industry standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"e64bb4ed _46033392 _73be43df _66a8af91 _4a08a94c b78d7723 ef05bed5 dcdd36e4 _8977b0f9 _4cb0cc49 _7abd457f\"><span class=\"_5b903a0e _95692cfb\" tabindex=\"-1\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\"><strong>Skills &amp;
