This is a hands-on role preparing equipment, supporting test engineers, and conducting EMC tests in line with commercial standards and internal procedures.<\/p>\n<p>The role offers excellent development opportunities and is ideal for someone with technical aptitude, good attention to detail, and interest in defence and aerospace testing.<\/p>\n<p>Core Responsibilities<\/p>\n<ul class=\"_4d988212 _7fd6be96\">\n<li>Set up and assist with EMC testing of electronic equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Operate test equipment under supervision.<\/li>\n<li>Accurately record measurements and observations.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and maintain lab setups, equipment, and test environments.<\/li>\n<li>Follow internal procedures and contribute to lab housekeeping.<\/li>\n<li>Support site-based testing at customer premises when required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Skills \/ Qualifications<\/p>\n<ul class=\"_4d988212 _7fd6be96\">\n<li>Technical qualification (e.g. BTEC, HNC) in engineering or relevant experience in a testing or lab environment.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with test equipment and safety procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To be successful in your application for this role you will require: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"_4d988212 _7fd6be96\">\n<li>Willingness to support testing at customer locations.<\/li>\n<li>Availability to work Monday to Thursday: 08:30\u201317:00, and Friday: 08:30\u201315:45 (37.5 hours per week).<\/li>\n<li>A team-focused and safety-conscious attitude.<\/li>\n<li>Full UK driving licence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Company Overview<\/p>\n<p>Element is one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world.
