While some of your work will involve general-purpose electronics design, you will also be a key specialist for RF design projects.<\/p>\n<p>We will provide the time and support needed to acquire additional specialist skills, such as antenna design, the use of tools such as CST or HFSS, Microwave Office, Keysight ADS, design-for, testing and debugging of EMC, and the use of our Altium PCB design tools alongside our dedicated ECAD specialists.<\/p>\n<p>We are keen to support the development of our employees, and as such offer an extensive inhouse training program. As you advance within the organisation there will be plenty of opportunities for you to develop your technical skills and specialism, take on more leadership responsibilities and\/or focus more on supporting the development of sales opportunities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What will you be doing? <\/strong>Some interesting high-speed electronics challenges that we&#8217;ve previously solved include:<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"_4d988212 _7fd6be96\">\n<li>Overcoming smart meter challenges for the last 5% by developing a custom ZigBee to Long-Range Radio Bridge<\/li>\n<li>Design of a low-power, high-performance smart wearable for Accesso integrating multiple radios<\/li>\n<li>Developing a novel air-interface and bespoke communication systems for the Ocado Smart Platform controlling hundreds of robots in grocery distribution centres<\/li>\n<li>Developing the Iridium Extreme satellite phone, the first truly-global &#8216;push-to-talk&#8217; mobile communications system<\/li>\n<li>Next-generation Explosive Ordnance Disposal for the British Army<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"_73e4f0ec _79826e45 _86089337 _76e19cb4 _48732c09 _70939782 cba00cae e82852d2 _7727cd49 _2d252095 _3b35bc3c\"><span class=\"_0e53c552 _2a01c2f9\" tabindex=\"-1\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\">Every project we do is different \u2013 we are always innovating rather than iterating, so each new project will be a brand-new challenge.<\/p>\n<p>You will also have access to our extensive in-house facilities.
