Enhancements are available for paternity leave, neonatal leave and fertility testing and treatments.<\/li>\n<li>Facilities: Fantastic site facilities including subsidised meals, free car parking and much more.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"_257510e4 _29555f2d d5a03518 _88e717a1 efc11163 d56e2c43 _8900abdb d5cba568 de12a3f5 _0b066698 _05bfa36d\"><span class=\"_92826792 _4d1dd74c\" tabindex=\"-1\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\"><strong>The opportunity: <\/strong>Our Electronic Engineering (EE) Function has a fantastic opportunity for a Team Lead within our expanding RF and Antenna Team.<\/p>\n<p>The Team Lead position will require a strong technical background in RF design with proven ability to lead work packages and provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to the team.<\/p>\n<p>Working alongside another Team lead, the Group Lead and Technical Experts, you&#8217;ll be responsible for leading the design and delivery of some of the most exciting and challenging projects in the UK defence industry.<\/p>\n<p>This is a challenging and exciting role with great career development pathways to progress in either technical or people management disciplines.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What we&#8217;re looking for from you: <\/strong>We&#8217;re looking for someone with a proven track record in leading and delivering complex RF design packages, while collaborating in a diverse cross-functional organisation. A flair for leadership and people management is also essential.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ce42b996 _80544c7b\">\n<li>Team leadership both technical and functional with the ability to inspire and drive high performing teams.<\/li>\n<li>Proven practical RF (component level) design and testing of RF circuits across a wide frequency range (eg, 30MHz to 30GHz, including LNA Amplifier, High Power Amplifier, filter, local oscillator, synthesiser, modulator design etc)<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of digital, analogue and power supply design<\/li>\n<li>Experience using RF and Antenna design tools (eg Microwave Office, HFSS), including layout.<\/li>\n<li>Fully conversant with modern Radio Transceiver System architecture and design<\/li>\n<li>Fully conversant with manufacturing techniques and capabilities, including design for manufacture and test.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Project Management and the planning of tasks\/activities (use of Excel, P6 or MS Project beneficial) On Time On Cost, On Quality.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"_257510e4 _29555f2d d5a03518 _88e717a1 efc11163 d56e2c43 _8900abdb d5cba568 de12a3f5 _0b066698 _05bfa36d\"><span class=\"_92826792 _4d1dd74c\" tabindex=\"-1\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\"><strong>Our company: Peace is not a given, Freedom is not a given, Sovereignty is not a given <\/strong>MBDA is a leading defence organisation.
