From concept and detailed design through implementation and test, you will develop RF and microwave electronics that enable our platforms to sense, communicate and operate in demanding environments. Your work will take critical hardware from early prototypes into production, supporting air defence systems as they move from the lab to real\u2011world deployment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"_309883cc _9c1d7d99\">\n<li>Identify and define the requirements for the architecture of electronic systems in conjunction with the wider engineering team<\/li>\n<li>Select components, perform analyses of RF chains, design distributed and hybrid filters, perform 2.5D and 3D EM simulations, draw schematics, direct (and occasionally engage in) layout activities, perform initial bring-up testing, and define production testing of RF and microwave electronic systems (including PCBs)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"_309883cc _9c1d7d99\">\n<li>Experience with RF design up to 10GHz (absolute minimum, ideally higher)<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience in distributed filter design and 2.5D \/ 3D EM simulation<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience in RF chain analysis (and ideally frequency planning)<\/li>\n<li>PCB design experience over a significant number of boards<\/li>\n<li>Experience in power supply design for RF circuits<\/li>\n<li>BEng \/ MEng Electrical &amp; Electronic Engineering or related field<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications\/Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"_309883cc _9c1d7d99\">\n<li>Experience in fast-paced R&amp;D or startup environments, with rapid prototype iteration times<\/li>\n<li>Antenna design experience<\/li>\n<li>MMIC design experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What We Offer<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"_309883cc _9c1d7d99\">\n<li>Competitive compensation and stock options<\/li>\n<li>Private Medical &amp; Dental<\/li>\n<li>Cycle to work scheme<\/li>\n<li>Lunchtime catering on site<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>About Us<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The mission of Cambridge Aerospace is to eliminate the risk of existential war in Europe.
