If you are the right person for us, you will seek a supportive environment, surrounded by passionate experts while being a part of a collaborative and driven team.<\/p>\n<p>The Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) team conduct the most complete test of missiles other than a firing and are MBDA&#8217;s Missile test track. We design complex, real-time simulations that surround real missile hardware to allow us to \u2018fire missiles indoors&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>As a HWIL RF engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing and maintaining new and existing RF equipment and working with multi-disciplinary teams to combine RF, electronics engineering and software development to produce new capabilities that enable the HWIL team to run new simulations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What we want from you: <\/strong>Broad engineering experience with deeper experience in <strong>some<\/strong> of the following skill areas:<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"_60654eee _0abc446e\">\n<li>Radio Frequency design and testing<\/li>\n<li>System performance analysis<\/li>\n<li>Interface debugging and system integration<\/li>\n<li>Hardware\/Software design requirements<\/li>\n<li>System design for real-time applications<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with Linux operating system<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with computer science (C++ an advantage)<\/li>\n<li>Integration of microcontrollers into RF hardware (e.g. Raspberry Pi)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"_294d12fb _627c9d00 _5b24a26c f35c73eb f634b6b3 cd891f05 ed95785e ba18e843 _5f27156b eb7aa579 _068415e4\"><span class=\"_4b8d378f c3fbc34e\" tabindex=\"-1\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\"><strong>Our company: Peace is not a given, Freedom is not a given, Sovereignty is not a given <\/strong>MBDA is a leading defence organisation.
