However, experience in several of the following areas would be considered essential:<\/p>\n<p>Required experience:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"_09447cf5 _0b540aaf\">\n<li>Good degree in Electronic Engineering, Physics or similar.<\/li>\n<li>5+ years working with RF electronics.<\/li>\n<li>Specifying RF systems, understanding novel application specific requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Designing RF circuits at GHz frequencies (selecting appropriate COTS components, cascade analysis etc).<\/li>\n<li>Using standard test equipment (Spectrum analyser, VNA, signal generator, oscilloscope).<\/li>\n<li>Debugging issues on high frequency PCBs.<\/li>\n<li>Measuring RF performance metrics against the specification (NF, IP3, SFDR etc).<\/li>\n<li>Confident in both technical leadership of RF systems projects, and in hands on development work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition, we would anticipate the candidate to have experience in some of the following:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"_09447cf5 _0b540aaf\">\n<li>PCB Layout.<\/li>\n<li>Writing test scripts in Python.<\/li>\n<li>Bluetooth systems.<\/li>\n<li>Antennas.<\/li>\n<li>High speed digital, e.g. USB3, PCIe.<\/li>\n<li>FPGA, particularly Xilinx and (System)Verilog.<\/li>\n<li>C++<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>DESIRED PERSONALITY TRAITS:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"_09447cf5 _0b540aaf\">\n<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<li>A proactive and adaptable mindset.<\/li>\n<li>A passion for constant learning and improvement.<\/li>\n<li>A desire to make a difference and be part of changing the Test Equipment status quo.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>ROLE SPECIFICATION \u2013 PRINICPAL RF SYSTEMS ENGINEER.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RFcreations<\/strong> is a core team of highly skilled and knowledgeable, professional engineers with decades of experience across the design and development of both RF and digital hardware, embedded, protocol stacks and UI software.
