This is a hands-on role preparing equipment, supporting test engineers, and conducting EMC tests in line with industry standards and internal procedures.<\/p>\n<p>The role offers excellent development opportunities and is ideal for someone with technical aptitude, good attention to detail, and interest in defence and aerospace testing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ca13589c _8b41e1a7\">\n<li>Set up and assist with EMC testing of electronic equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Operate test equipment under supervision.<\/li>\n<li>Accurately record measurements and observations.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and maintain lab setups, equipment, and test environments.<\/li>\n<li>Follow internal procedures and contribute to lab housekeeping.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"bc5245d7 _6a369ac5 _8f434462 _92e1e770 a29bca6d _9d56585c _0d1a2e30 _8c8f5ead _9ee69c2e _55f0cc41 ab251f1a\"><span class=\"_3ad3fa9c c0ab5576\" tabindex=\"-1\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\"><strong>Skills \/ Qualifications <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ca13589c _8b41e1a7\">\n<li>Technical qualification (e.g. BTEC, HNC) in engineering or relevant experience in a testing or lab environment.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with test equipment and safety procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"bc5245d7 _6a369ac5 _8f434462 _92e1e770 a29bca6d _9d56585c _0d1a2e30 _8c8f5ead _9ee69c2e _55f0cc41 ab251f1a\"><span class=\"_3ad3fa9c c0ab5576\" tabindex=\"-1\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\"><strong>To be successful in your application for this role you will require: <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ca13589c _8b41e1a7\">\n<li>The ability to obtain and maintain UK security clearance (baseline or SC level).<\/li>\n<li>Availability to work Monday to Thursday: 08:30\u201317:00, and Friday: 08:30\u201315:00 (37.5 hours per week).<\/li>\n<li>A team-focused and safety-conscious attitude.<\/li>\n<li>Full UK driving licence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"bc5245d7 _6a369ac5 _8f434462 _92e1e770 a29bca6d _9d56585c _0d1a2e30 _8c8f5ead _9ee69c2e _55f0cc41 ab251f1a\"><span class=\"_3ad3fa9c c0ab5576\" tabindex=\"-1\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\"><strong>Company Overview <\/strong>Element is one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world.
