This is a hands-on role preparing equipment, supporting test engineers, and conducting EMC tests in line with commercial standards and internal procedures.<\/p>\n<p>The role offers excellent development opportunities and is ideal for someone with technical aptitude, good attention to detail, and interest in defence and aerospace testing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"_15ed7cee _3d68cde6\">\n<li>Set up and assist with EMC testing of electronic equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Operate test equipment under supervision.<\/li>\n<li>Accurately record measurements and observations.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and maintain lab setups, equipment, and test environments.<\/li>\n<li>Follow internal procedures and contribute to lab housekeeping.<\/li>\n<li>Support site-based testing at customer premises when required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"_2eb95346 _1f780de2 da5267a2 _39a92184 _0353670a _4ef82327 aedb061d bec82545 _353d12e1 c351b56f _38a45f7f\"><span class=\"fbf9de3d ae7bc081\" tabindex=\"-1\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\"><strong>Skills \/ Qualifications <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"_15ed7cee _3d68cde6\">\n<li>Technical qualification (e.g. BTEC, HNC) in engineering or relevant experience in a testing or lab environment.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with test equipment and safety procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"_2eb95346 _1f780de2 da5267a2 _39a92184 _0353670a _4ef82327 aedb061d bec82545 _353d12e1 c351b56f _38a45f7f\"><span class=\"fbf9de3d ae7bc081\" tabindex=\"-1\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\"><strong>To be successful in your application for this role you will require: <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"_15ed7cee _3d68cde6\">\n<li>Willingness to support testing at customer locations.<\/li>\n<li>Availability to work Monday to Thursday: 08:30\u201317:00, and Friday: 08:30\u201315:45 (37.5 hours per week).<\/li>\n<li>A team-focused and safety-conscious attitude.<\/li>\n<li>Full UK driving licence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"_2eb95346 _1f780de2 da5267a2 _39a92184 _0353670a _4ef82327 aedb061d bec82545 _353d12e1 c351b56f _38a45f7f\"><span class=\"fbf9de3d ae7bc081\" tabindex=\"-1\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\"><strong>Company Overview <\/strong>Element is one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world.
