We help businesses harness unrelenting technological change to successfully deliver innovations that will help them gain a competitive advantage and improve the everyday lives of people around the globe.<\/p>\n<p>We are seeking a highly organised and motivated RF Antennae Design Engineer to join our proactive and innovative Hardware Development team.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"d5f1be25 _6f44c9df edb9dae4\">\n<li>Work individually or in teams alongside mechanical and electronic engineers to develop new antenna designs.<\/li>\n<li>Develop designs using 3D EM simulation software CST Microwave Studio, MATLAB and SIMULINK.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with assembly and testing of prototype designs.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate with clients, internal and external project managers, and test houses to ensure workflow remains on schedule.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in and lead design reviews and manage engineering change notes through the product development process in line with ISO 9001 procedures<\/li>\n<li>Create and maintain project, design and test documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Provide management information on design developments for reporting purposes as required.<\/li>\n<li>Adherence to all health, safety, environmental &amp; quality policies and standards<\/li>\n<li>Any other duties as the business requires<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"_0d982122 fd417a7a cb81723c _6e9fad85 _13695d89 _6784db7f _5b5cad18 ed9ce09e _8fbdf03c _0ca6e5c4 d6770565\"><span class=\"_70e4f2de _5450b3ac edb9dae4\" tabindex=\"-1\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\"><strong>Qualifications<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"d5f1be25 _6f44c9df edb9dae4\">\n<li>Ideally a degree qualified, chartered engineer or working towards chartered status within a recognised and relevant professional body.<\/li>\n<li>The SE may hold an HNC in a relevant engineering discipline in concert with significant and demonstrable subject matter expertise in the system domain<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"_0d982122 fd417a7a cb81723c _6e9fad85 _13695d89 _6784db7f _5b5cad18 ed9ce09e _8fbdf03c _0ca6e5c4 d6770565\"><span class=\"_70e4f2de _5450b3ac edb9dae4\" tabindex=\"-1\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\"><strong>Essential Skills<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"d5f1be25 _6f44c9df edb9dae4\">\n<li>Proven track record in Antenna design<\/li>\n<li>Experience of using CST Microwave Studio (or similar)<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with antenna radiation pattern measurements (near-field or far-field)<\/li>\n<li>Experience of using VNA\u2019s or similar antenna measurement equipment<\/li>\n<li>A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is required.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work autonomously on tasks and as part of larger interdisciplinary teams.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to initiate, plan and organise.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in using all Microsoft office packages<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"_0d982122 fd417a7a cb81723c _6e9fad85 _13695d89 _6784db7f _5b5cad18 ed9ce09e _8fbdf03c _0ca6e5c4 d6770565\"><span class=\"_70e4f2de _5450b3ac edb9dae4\" tabindex=\"-1\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\"><strong>Desired Skills<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"d5f1be25 _6f44c9df edb9dae4\">\n<li>Industrial experience or relevant academic experience in the field of antennas is desirable.<\/li>\n<li>Production of antenna designs at RF, microwave or mm-wave frequencies (especially wideband topologies) would be advantageous.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience of antenna-based systems for defence, aerospace, or commercial applications desirable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"_0d982122 fd417a7a cb81723c _6e9fad85 _13695d89 _6784db7f _5b5cad18 ed9ce09e _8fbdf03c _0ca6e5c4 d6770565\"><span class=\"_70e4f2de _5450b3ac edb9dae4\" tabindex=\"-1\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\"><strong>What Do I Need Before I Apply<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"d5f1be25 _6f44c9df edb9dae4\">\n<li>This role may require security clearance and our offer of employment will be dependent on obtaining the appropriate level of clearance.
