capabilities supporting defence and aerospa<\/p>\n<p>ce programmes.<br \/>\nThe role offers exposure to the full RF system lifecycle, developing high-performance solutions designed to operate in complex and demandin<\/p>\n<p>g environments.<br \/>\nYou will join a highly skilled engineering team delivering cutting-edge RF architectures and contributing directly to the performance, resilience, and evolution of next-gen<\/p>\n<p>eration systems.<br \/>\nThe position involves the design and development of RF circuitry for high-frequency and microwave applications, including receivers, transmitters, antennas, and freque<\/p>\n<p>ncy synthesizers.<br \/>\nResponsibilities include RF hardware design and layout, component selection and evaluation, prototype development, and RF testing to verify performance aga<\/p>\n<p>inst requirements.<br \/>\nThe role also supports manufacturing during build, integration, and test activities, and contributes to formal techn<\/p>\n<p>ical documentation.<br \/>\nIn addition, the role focuses on the development of RF system and subsystem architectures, including antennas, transmitters, receivers, low-noise amplifiers, high-power amplifiers, RF conversion elements, and transm<\/p>\n<p>ission line systems.<br \/>\nIt includes performing link analysis and optimisation, considering propagation effects and potential interference sources, as well as defining and allocating RF<\/p>\n<p>system requirements.<br \/>\nFurther responsibilities include identifying and tracking RF technical performance measures (TPMs), conducting system and subsystem trade studies, and sup<\/p>\n<p>porting CAIV analysis.<br \/>\nThe role also contributes to lifecycle considerations, including cost, reliability, availability, maintainability, and overal<\/p>\n<p><strong>l system effecti<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"d5f1be25 _6f44c9df edb9dae4\">\n<li>veness.<br \/>\nResponsibilities<br \/>\nDevelop innovative RF engineering solutions to complex technical challenges aligned with programme and o<\/li>\n<li>rganisational objectives.Work independently with limited direction, with outputs reviewed upon completion against departmental<\/li>\n<li>standards and objectives.Contribute to major engineering work packages and may take on technical leadership responsibilities with<\/li>\n<li>in RF-focused programmes.Engage with senior engineers and stakeholders on significant technical matters, influencing system design<\/li>\n<li>and programme direction.Contribute to the development of new RF concepts and solutions, applying deep technical expertise and industry knowledge to advance capability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong> across the organisation.<br \/>\nRequired skills, quali<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"d5f1be25 _6f44c9df edb9dae4\">\n<li>fications and experience :<br \/>\nExperience in RF engineering or a re<\/li>\n<li>lated technical discipline.Strong experience in RF circuit design, microwave systems,<\/li>\n<li>and subsystem integration.Proven ability to develop and optimise RF system architectures, including antennas, t<\/li>\n<li>ransmitters, and receivers.Experience with RF testing, performance analysis, and validation a<\/li>\n<li>gainst system requirements.Strong understanding of RF system trade studies, link analysis,<\/li>\n<li>and performance modelling.Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, Physic<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>s, or a related discipline.<br \/>\nLMPeople Qua<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>lifications and Experience :<br
