We are seeking an experienced EMC Engineer to support our client at their Belfast facility. In this role, the successful candidate will contribute to the design and development of state\u2011of\u2011the\u2011art complex defence systems, including guided\u2011weapon and energetic\u2011safety programmes, ensuring robust performance in demanding operational environments.<\/p>\n<p>The position supports the full engineering lifecycle, from requirements development through verification, including analysis, test planning and compliance activities. It offers an excellent opportunity for an EMC Engineer to deepen their technical capability, broaden their understanding of complex electronic systems and contribute to the delivery of high\u2011integrity products within a highly regulated environment.<\/p>\n<p>We are seeking an energetic and driven individual with a strong background in EMC engineering and a solid understanding of complex electronic systems. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in defence, aerospace or other highly regulated industries, where rigorous compliance and verification processes are essential.<\/p>\n<p>This role offers the chance to work with a blue\u2011chip client on technology that contributes directly to the security of the UK and its allies. detail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p><\/strong>The EMC Engineer will perform, but not be limited to the following type of activities centred on the development and delivery of complex defence systems, including guided\u2011weapon and energetic\u2011safety programmes:<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"d5f1be25 _6f44c9df edb9dae4\">\n<li>Perform EMC activities within the Electronics team, optimising designs through trade\u2011offs, studies, and analysis to ensure best\u2011in\u2011class product performance.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain EMC requirements, and review internal and external specifications for compliance and completeness.<\/li>\n<li>Produce EMC test plans aligned with project, regulatory, and customer requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with external EMC test houses, including obtaining quotations, defining test scope, and coordinating test campaigns.<\/li>\n<li>Support CE marking activities, including conducting EMC Directive risk assessments and ensuring documentation readiness.<\/li>\n<li>Perform EMC pre\u2011compliance testing to de\u2011risk formal qualification campaigns.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct read\u2011across assessments and gap analyses to determine applicability of existing evidence to new designs or variants.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out HERO, HERP, and HERF assessments and support associated trials.<\/li>\n<li>Support and participate in EMC and HERO test campaigns, including on\u2011site technical assistance.<\/li>\n<li>Produce high\u2011quality test reports, verification records, and supporting documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to
