We would love to hear from you!<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re on the hunt for a <strong>Senior RF Engineer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>MDA\u2019s international footprint in the UK creates opportunities to work with some of the most exciting space industrial players in the country. Delivering all three business area capabilities in Geointelligence, Robotics &amp; Space Operations, and Satellite Systems, our UK team provides support to our European-based customers while specializing in the development of advanced space sensors for exploration missions as well as space-based communication technology. As our presence grows overseas, so does our need for new ambitious team players to help us advance our place in the Universe and beyond.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"_64a18702 _7a76ac06 _4ff70394\">\n<li>Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team of engineers developing satellite telecommunication payloads for a variety of orbits<\/li>\n<li>RF system and circuit level design, simulation and testing<\/li>\n<li>Supporting link budget analysis<\/li>\n<li>Detailed circuit design including schematic capture, component selection, circuit analysis and EM simulation<\/li>\n<li>Engineering analysis and documentation (Derating, Worst Case, Reliability, Radiation, EMI\/EMC Analysis, FMECA, Power Budget)<\/li>\n<li>Directing in-house and 3rd party PCB layout design teams<\/li>\n<li>Delivering prototype and product quality manufacturing packages<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"_3d4c77c2 _6a703779 _882105cc _47e4d84e _384e5141 _355aa2fd _16c3ccda _9728bc50 cc7fb8ee e91c3682 a9669301\"><span class=\"_011a6aa9 _12fe31e5 _4ff70394\" tabindex=\"-1\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\"><strong>Required Skills And Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"_64a18702 _7a76ac06 _4ff70394\">\n<li>10+ years\u2019 experience in a RF engineering role, in the Space or an equivalent High Reliability sector<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of LEO\/GEO communications payloads<\/li>\n<li>Experience of circuit and PCB design and RF simulation tools<\/li>\n<li>Specialist knowledge in any of the following areas would be advantageous:\n<ul class=\"_64a18702 _7a76ac06 _4ff70394\">\n<li>High reliability design and analysis (Space, Military, Automotive, etc)<\/li>\n<li>Spacecraft link budgets<\/li>\n<li>Signal integrity analysis<\/li>\n<li>Electronic circuitry radiation effects and mitigation techniques<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of environmental, thermal, safety and EMI\/EMC standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"_3d4c77c2 _6a703779 _882105cc _47e4d84e _384e5141 _355aa2fd _16c3ccda _9728bc50 cc7fb8ee e91c3682 a9669301\"><span class=\"_011a6aa9 _12fe31e5 _4ff70394\" tabindex=\"-1\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\">We\u2019re a dream team of purpose-driven, collaborative and passionate people, and we are constantly looking for others to join #TeamMDA to ignite new and innovative approaches to problem-solving that push us forward to improve life on and above Earth.
