If you are the right person for us, you will seek a supportive environment, surrounded by passionate experts while being a part of a collaborative and driven team.<\/p>\n<p>The Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) team conduct the most complete test of missiles other than a firing and are MBDA&#8217;s Missile test track. We design complex, real-time simulations that surround real missile hardware to allow us to \u2018fire missiles indoors&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>As a HWIL RF engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing and maintaining new and existing RF equipment and working with multi-disciplinary teams to combine RF, electronics engineering and software development to produce new capabilities that enable the HWIL team to run new simulations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What we want from you:<\/p>\n<p><\/strong>Broad engineering experience with deeper experience in <strong>some<\/strong> of the following skill areas:<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"_32790b21 _68a94926 _2dce6504\">\n<li>Radio Frequency design and testing<\/li>\n<li>System performance analysis<\/li>\n<li>Interface debugging and system integration<\/li>\n<li>Hardware\/Software design requirements<\/li>\n<li>System design for real-time applications<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with Linux operating system<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with computer science (C++ an advantage)<\/li>\n<li>Integration of microcontrollers into RF hardware (e.g. Raspberry Pi)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"fb921db8 f6f3d167 bbf7948c _98c4b229 ca60e040 f46b3150 _7b625940 _3a0901f3 _586c9f71 _29670e17 ede8882d\"><span class=\"_359e3235 _93797b7c _2dce6504\" tabindex=\"-1\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\"><strong>Our company: Peace is not a given, Freedom is not a given, Sovereignty is not a given<\/p>\n<p><\/strong>MBDA is a leading defence organisation.
