Join us as an Associate Research Engineer (RF Signatures) at our Farnborough site, where you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in partnership with some of the most brilliant minds.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Role<\/p>\n<p><\/strong>As an Associate Research Engineer (RF Signatures), you will contribute to the development of solutions that reduce and manage platform detectability across land and maritime domains.<\/p>\n<p>Day-to-day, you\u2019ll support the design, analysis, testing, and delivery of RF signature solutions, working within a multidisciplinary team to solve complex engineering challenges and produce high-quality technical outputs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Your responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"_39776fa3 b9e126ad _1e09f84a\">\n<li>Contribute to RF signature design, analysis, testing, and reporting<\/li>\n<li>Support the development of engineering solutions using materials and structural design approaches<\/li>\n<li>Produce technical artefacts including CAD models, reports, and engineering documentation<\/li>\n<li>Support trials, testing, and validation activities including data analysis and interpretation<\/li>\n<li>Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and engage with internal stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Identify technical risks and contribute to mitigation activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"_243b3f31 _92e983aa _65482d3d c14a369d _4f04b8a1 _4fbd672a _3cbd1d85 bed7a945 _756a9e78 _96cfadde _9ea9f6c5\"><span class=\"b4be27ef _985d32e2 _1e09f84a\" tabindex=\"-1\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\"><strong>Essential experience of the Associate Research Engineer (RF Signatures):<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"_39776fa3 b9e126ad _1e09f84a\">\n<li>Strong engineering analysis and structured problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Experience contributing to engineering design, development, or technical problem solving<\/li>\n<li>Competence in CAD tools such as SolidWorks<\/li>\n<li>Ability to produce clear and accurate engineering documentation and reports<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of core engineering fundamentals including materials and design principles<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on, proactive approach with experience working in multidisciplinary teams<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"_243b3f31 _92e983aa _65482d3d c14a369d _4f04b8a1 _4fbd672a _3cbd1d85 bed7a945 _756a9e78 _96cfadde _9ea9f6c5\"><span class=\"b4be27ef _985d32e2 _1e09f84a\" tabindex=\"-1\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\"><strong>Essential qualifications for the Associate Research Engineer (RF Signatures):<\/p>\n<p><\/strong>Master\u2019s degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g. Mechanical, Aerospace, Materials)<\/p>\n<p>We value difference and we don\u2019t have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show the required level of experience and willingness to learn then we would like to hear from you.<\/p>\n<p>This role is 37 hours per week based at our Farnborough site site with a minimum average site attendance of three days per week.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Farnborough<\/p>\n<p><\/strong>At our Farnborough site exciting work takes place at our state-of-the-art facility, with high-energy laser technologies, our 5m pressurised wind tunnel which has a simulation capability that is unique in the UK and our large research and development projects is a real hub of creativity, research and innovation.
