You&#8217;ll work on LTE and 5G indoor coverage solutions, delivering professional RF planning outputs for customer projects.<\/p>\n<p>This role is suited to an experienced contractor who can work independently and contribute from day one.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Scope of Work<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>The successful contractor will be responsible for:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul class=\"_893dbef1 _3b0fffcd _3b42afd3\">\n<li>Designing in-building wireless coverage solutions for LTE and 5G networks, including DAS, small-cell and digital indoor systems.<\/li>\n<li>Producing RF designs using Ranplan, iBwave or equivalent indoor propagation modelling tools.<\/li>\n<li>Creating coverage predictions, capacity analysis and interference studies.<\/li>\n<li>Performing link budget calculations and determining optimal equipment placement.<\/li>\n<li>Analysing architectural floorplans and construction materials to model indoor propagation accurately.<\/li>\n<li>Designing solutions across multiple frequency bands including 700, 800, 1800, 2100, 2600 and 3500 MHz.<\/li>\n<li>Producing detailed RF design documentation, including equipment layouts and design specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Working closely with deployment and project teams to ensure designs are practical and deliverable.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting post-installation validation, optimisation and performance analysis where required.<\/li>\n<li>Providing technical input during customer design reviews and project delivery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Applicants should demonstrate experience in:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul class=\"_893dbef1 _3b0fffcd _3b42afd3\">\n<li>RF planning and design of indoor cellular networks.<\/li>\n<li>Ranplan, iBwave or equivalent RF planning software.<\/li>\n<li>Indoor RF propagation modelling.<\/li>\n<li>DAS, small-cell or digital indoor radio systems.<\/li>\n<li>LTE and 5G radio technologies.<\/li>\n<li>Link budgets, coverage modelling and capacity planning.<\/li>\n<li>Reading and interpreting architectural drawings.<\/li>\n<li>Producing customer-ready technical documentation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desirable Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"_893dbef1 _3b0fffcd _3b42afd3\">\n<li>Experience with indoor small-cell platforms.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with RF survey and measurement tools.<\/li>\n<li>Experience of neutral-host or multi-operator indoor systems.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of transport networks, fibre and PoE infrastructure.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of optimisation techniques and network performance KPIs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"_893dbef1 _3b0fffcd _3b42afd3\">\n<li>Proven experience delivering indoor RF design projects.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and technical documentation skills.<\/li>\n<li>Full UK driving licence.<\/li>\n<li>and small cell systems is beneficial.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":1959,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"Horsham, England, United Kingdom","_application":"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/jobs\/view\/4436727757\/?eBP=NON_CHARGEABLE_CHANNEL&trk=flagship3_search_srp_jobs&refId=8anyEZWOCQXkDjW1jhDPiQ%3D%3D&trackingId=QyO0ZtLxQoC0NpMKuHu7Xw%3D%3D","_company_name":"Metricell","_company_website":"http:\/\/www.metricell.com","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[152],"job-types":[146],"class_list":{"0":"post-3184","1":"job_listing","2":"type-job_listing","3":"status-publish","4":"has-post-thumbnail","5":"hentry","7":"job-type-full-time"},"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/theemcnews.co.uk\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-listings\/3184","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/theemcnews.co.uk\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-listings"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/theemcnews.co.uk\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/job_listing"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/theemcnews.co.uk\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/theemcnews.co.uk\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/1959"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/theemcnews.co.uk\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=3184"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"job_listing_category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/theemcnews.co.uk\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-categories?post=3184"},{"taxonomy":"job_listing_type","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/theemcnews.co.uk\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-types?post=3184"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
