We would love to hear from you!<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re on the hunt for a <strong>Senior RF Engineer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>MDA\u2019s international footprint in the UK creates opportunities to work with some of the most exciting space industrial players in the country. Delivering all three business area capabilities in Geointelligence, Robotics &amp; Space Operations, and Satellite Systems, our UK team provides support to our European-based customers while specializing in the development of advanced space sensors for exploration missions as well as space-based communication technology. As our presence grows overseas, so does our need for new ambitious team players to help us advance our place in the Universe and beyond.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"_893dbef1 _3b0fffcd _3b42afd3\">\n<li>Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team of engineers developing satellite telecommunication payloads for a variety of orbits<\/li>\n<li>RF system and circuit level design, simulation and testing<\/li>\n<li>Supporting link budget analysis<\/li>\n<li>Detailed circuit design including schematic capture, component selection, circuit analysis and EM simulation<\/li>\n<li>Engineering analysis and documentation (Derating, Worst Case, Reliability, Radiation, EMI\/EMC Analysis, FMECA, Power Budget)<\/li>\n<li>Directing in-house and 3rd party PCB layout design teams<\/li>\n<li>Delivering prototype and product quality manufacturing packages<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"e6590096 d2e620b9 _3ff84621 _0b90939f _52b33e66 _3636d943 _2b366c9a fee11784 _381c41ae _91345936 _1e184552\"><span class=\"b532df19 _0f41423d _3b42afd3\" tabindex=\"-1\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\"><strong>Required Skills And Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"_893dbef1 _3b0fffcd _3b42afd3\">\n<li>10+ years\u2019 experience in a RF engineering role, in the Space or an equivalent High Reliability sector<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of LEO\/GEO communications payloads<\/li>\n<li>Experience of circuit and PCB design and RF simulation tools<\/li>\n<li>Specialist knowledge in any of the following areas would be advantageous:\n<ul class=\"_893dbef1 _3b0fffcd _3b42afd3\">\n<li>High reliability design and analysis (Space, Military, Automotive, etc)<\/li>\n<li>Spacecraft link budgets<\/li>\n<li>Signal integrity analysis<\/li>\n<li>Electronic circuitry radiation effects and mitigation techniques<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of environmental, thermal, safety and EMI\/EMC standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"e6590096 d2e620b9 _3ff84621 _0b90939f _52b33e66 _3636d943 _2b366c9a fee11784 _381c41ae _91345936 _1e184552\"><span class=\"b532df19 _0f41423d _3b42afd3\" tabindex=\"-1\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\">We\u2019re a dream team of purpose-driven, collaborative and passionate people, and we are constantly looking for others to join #TeamMDA to ignite new and innovative approaches to problem-solving that push us forward to improve life on and above Earth.
