We would love to hear from you!<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re on the hunt for a <strong>Senior RF Engineer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>MDA\u2019s international footprint in the UK creates opportunities to work with some of the most exciting space industrial players in the country. Delivering all three business area capabilities in Geointelligence, Robotics &amp; Space Operations, and Satellite Systems, our UK team provides support to our European-based customers while specializing in the development of advanced space sensors for exploration missions as well as space-based communication technology. As our presence grows overseas, so does our need for new ambitious team players to help us advance our place in the Universe and beyond.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ddef26de _9badfcb1 _0ac4d058\">\n<li>Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team of engineers developing satellite telecommunication payloads for a variety of orbits<\/li>\n<li>RF system and circuit level design, simulation and testing<\/li>\n<li>Supporting link budget analysis<\/li>\n<li>Detailed circuit design including schematic capture, component selection, circuit analysis and EM simulation<\/li>\n<li>Engineering analysis and documentation (Derating, Worst Case, Reliability, Radiation, EMI\/EMC Analysis, FMECA, Power Budget)<\/li>\n<li>Directing in-house and 3rd party PCB layout design teams<\/li>\n<li>Delivering prototype and product quality manufacturing packages<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"a7d7b3de a1d7fb5c df185698 e53d6475 _72897ea6 e6344c66 d44a3e2b _6dea961e _81605bc6 _14dd034c _42495996\"><span class=\"_06584875 _2c8dcc4f _0ac4d058\" tabindex=\"-1\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\"><strong>Required Skills And Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ddef26de _9badfcb1 _0ac4d058\">\n<li>10+ years\u2019 experience in a RF engineering role, in the Space or an equivalent High Reliability sector<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of LEO\/GEO communications payloads<\/li>\n<li>Experience of circuit and PCB design and RF simulation tools<\/li>\n<li>Specialist knowledge in any of the following areas would be advantageous:\n<ul class=\"ddef26de _9badfcb1 _0ac4d058\">\n<li>High reliability design and analysis (Space, Military, Automotive, etc)<\/li>\n<li>Spacecraft link budgets<\/li>\n<li>Signal integrity analysis<\/li>\n<li>Electronic circuitry radiation effects and mitigation techniques<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of environmental, thermal, safety and EMI\/EMC standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"a7d7b3de a1d7fb5c df185698 e53d6475 _72897ea6 e6344c66 d44a3e2b _6dea961e _81605bc6 _14dd034c _42495996\"><span class=\"_06584875 _2c8dcc4f _0ac4d058\" tabindex=\"-1\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\">We\u2019re a dream team of purpose-driven, collaborative and passionate people, and we are constantly looking for others to join #TeamMDA to ignite new and innovative approaches to problem-solving that push us forward to improve life on and above Earth.
