Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, you&#8217;ll take ownership of RF hardware development from concept through to deployment, helping shape the future of commercially viable quantum computing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_5d302b6a a6bc4c2c _75f604f0 _1501918d efd8d586 _3773d5ff c65a4fcc _708b38c4 ac148a1d f65bf225 cefe1f0e\"><span class=\"d9e33baa a7f005fa _42fbde90\" tabindex=\"-1\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\"><strong>What You&#8217;ll Be Working On<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"_12b6eae5 _29fbe201 _42fbde90\">\n<li>Architecting and delivering RF control, readout, and packaging solutions that meet demanding system performance requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Designing, simulating, testing, and optimising RF and microwave circuitry using modelling tools and laboratory-based experimentation.<\/li>\n<li>Leading RF characterisation activities, including microwave I\/O analysis, filtering design, signal-to-noise optimisation, and performance validation.<\/li>\n<li>Investigating complex technical issues, driving root-cause analysis, and implementing data-led design improvements.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborating with hardware, systems, and cryogenic engineering teams to ensure successful integration across the quantum computing stack.<\/li>\n<li>Managing technical engagement with RF suppliers, evaluating components, and supporting hardware quality assurance activities.<\/li>\n<li>Providing technical leadership, mentoring engineers, and contributing to roadmap planning, delivery forecasting, and engineering best practices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"_5d302b6a a6bc4c2c _75f604f0 _1501918d efd8d586 _3773d5ff c65a4fcc _708b38c4 ac148a1d f65bf225 cefe1f0e\"><span class=\"d9e33baa a7f005fa _42fbde90\" tabindex=\"-1\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\"><strong>What We&#8217;re Looking For<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"_12b6eae5 _29fbe201 _42fbde90\">\n<li>Proven experience developing RF and microwave hardware solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Strong RF design, simulation, and modelling expertise.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with RF laboratory testing, validation, and characterisation methodologies.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical and system integration challenges independently.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working across multidisciplinary engineering environments.<\/li>\n<li>Strong data analysis, stakeholder communication, and technical documentation skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to balance technical trade-offs, risk, manufacturability, and performance requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Experience engaging with suppliers and technical partners.<\/li>\n<li>Technical leadership capability, including project ownership and mentoring of engineers.<\/li>\n<li>Degree in Electronics, Physics, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"_5d302b6a a6bc4c2c _75f604f0 _1501918d efd8d586 _3773d5ff c65a4fcc _708b38c4 ac148a1d f65bf225 cefe1f0e\"><span class=\"d9e33baa a7f005fa _42fbde90\" tabindex=\"-1\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\"><strong>The &#8216;Nice-to-Haves&#8217;<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"_12b6eae5 _29fbe201 _42fbde90\">\n<li>Postgraduate qualification in RF Engineering, Microwave Engineering, Electronics, Physics, or a related discipline.<\/li>\n<li>Experience leading complex technical projects or work packages.<\/li>\n<li>Experience within advanced technology, research, or highly regulated environments.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of project planning, risk analysis, and process improvement methodologies.<\/li>\n<li>Python scripting experience.<\/li>\n<li>Strong influencing, adaptability, creativity, and leadership skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"_5d302b6a a6bc4c2c _75f604f0 _1501918d efd8d586 _3773d5ff c65a4fcc _708b38c4 ac148a1d f65bf225 cefe1f0e\"><span class=\"d9e33baa a7f005fa _42fbde90\" tabindex=\"-1\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\"><strong>Why Join OQC<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>You will join a world-class team at the forefront of the next computational era.
