It will specifically will focus on design for EMC and RE. The successful candidate will have significant experience in analogue and digital electronics design with an awareness or specialism in EMC and\/or RF systems.<\/p>\n<p>The EMC design engineer will focus on providing the project teams with advice and guidance on the design of products to ensure that they meet the EMC requirements, they will also be responsible for designing and producing test plans and bespoke electronic test solutions. They will support the development of unique test capability for the facility.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What we&#8217;re looking for from you:<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><strong>Essential<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"_00ebd4d1 df79ffd8 _350a8c37\">\n<li>Higher education or significant experience within subject fields: Electronics, Electrical, Physics, EMC or similar<\/li>\n<li>Significant experience in Electronic Design, development, and delivery<\/li>\n<li>Experience in leading significant electronic design work packages<\/li>\n<li>Excellent problem-solving skills and knowledge of electronic technologies<\/li>\n<li>Experience with SPICE simulation tools (LTspice, ORCAD)<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work to defined deadlines and within budget limits<\/li>\n<li>Excellent Analytical and Problem Solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Capable of working autonomously to meet the delivery needs of the company<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"_02484ad3 _61558a10 _1736033f bb60b960 _09ad6ea6 _73f0271c b4f312e9 dbc6a59b bde9e0a3 c6cab855 b1851e25\"><span class=\"ca3bdc83 _20837f7b _350a8c37\" tabindex=\"-1\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\"><strong>Desirable<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"_00ebd4d1 df79ffd8 _350a8c37\">\n<li>Good Understanding of EMC and design principles<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge in the application of a military EMC standard to system, sub-system or equipment level is desirable (e.g. Defence Standard 59-41 \/ 59-411, AECTP500, Mil-Std-461, RTCA DO160 \/ EUROCAE ED-14)<\/li>\n<li>Engineers with previous experience in delivering support around the subject of electromagnetic compatibility<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"_02484ad3 _61558a10 _1736033f bb60b960 _09ad6ea6 _73f0271c b4f312e9 dbc6a59b bde9e0a3 c6cab855 b1851e25\"><span class=\"ca3bdc83 _20837f7b _350a8c37\" tabindex=\"-1\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\"><strong>Our company: Peace is not a given, Freedom is not a given, Sovereignty is not a given<\/p>\n<p><\/strong>MBDA is a leading defence organisation.
