This role can suit entry-level, mid-level, or senior candidates, depending on experience, and offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge RF technologies within a multidisciplinary engineering team.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"_53d0ad87 _78476882 ee3529b5\">\n<li>Designing and optimising RF systems and components (e.g., antennas, filters, amplifiers)<\/li>\n<li>Working on phased-array antenna design and beamforming technologies<\/li>\n<li>Testing and validating RF hardware for performance, reliability, and regulatory compliance<\/li>\n<li>Performing RF simulations using industry tools and modelling environments<\/li>\n<li>Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate RF components into larger systems<\/li>\n<li>Documenting test results, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Education &#8211; Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discip<strong>line<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Experience &amp; Technical Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"_53d0ad87 _78476882 ee3529b5\">\n<li>3\u20135 years of RF design\/testing experience (5+ years for senior roles; entry-level considered with strong fundamentals)<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with RF lab equipment (spectrum\/network analysers, signal generators)<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of phased-array antennas and beamforming<\/li>\n<li>Experience with SDRs and tools such as GNURadio<\/li>\n<li>Solid knowledge of RF and microwave theory<\/li>\n<li>Experience with RF front-end components (LNAs, PAs, filters)<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with RF communication and modulation standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"_53d0ad87 _78476882 ee3529b5\">\n<li>Linux experience for system setup and testing workflows<\/li>\n<li>Strong programming skills<\/li>\n<li>History of patent contributions<\/li>\n<li>Security clearance (or ability to obtain one)<\/li>\n<li>Experience with manufacturing processes and quality assurance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Details<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Lo<\/strong>cation:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"_53d0ad87 _78476882 ee3529b5\">\n<li>North Uttlesford \/ Greater Cambridge area, on-site<\/li>\n<li>Five days a week on-site (ie: this is not a hybrid role)<\/li>\n<li>Full UK driving licence required.
