Due to our continued growth we are now recruiting for a <\/strong><strong>Senior Project Engineer \u2013 Antenna Systems <\/strong><strong>to be based at our customer\u2019s site in Bicester<\/strong><em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Our Embedded Systems Solutions department (ESS) encompasses all activities outlined under the Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) process framework, including systems engineering, software engineering, coding, and all levels of functional testing. Beyond core development, ESS also integrates critical supporting processes such as project management, risk assessment, functional safety, and cybersecurity, ensuring compliance with ASPICE standards and delivering reliable, secure, and high-quality embedded systems &amp; solutions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Role:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer experienced with automotive antenna systems to own the vehicle-level antenna system architecture, performance, and validation for automotive platforms. This role is responsible for end-to-end antenna system definition and integration for GPS\/GNSS, DAB, FM\/AM, and Satellite Radio (SXM), working closely with internal infotainment, telematics, EMC, and vehicle engineering teams, as well as managing Tier-1 suppliers. The position includes strong ownership of DFMEA and DVP&amp;R activities and close collaboration with radio tuner and antenna amplifier development teams to ensure robust, production-ready RF performance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Areas of Responsibility:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>System Ownership &amp; Architecture<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"_3f534fa0 _505b3e07 _93e2ccf0\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul class=\"_3f534fa0 _505b3e07 _93e2ccf0\">\n<li>Own the vehicle antenna system architecture across multiple vehicle platforms and programs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"_3f534fa0 _505b3e07 _93e2ccf0\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul class=\"_3f534fa0 _505b3e07 _93e2ccf0\">\n<li>Define system requirements and performance targets for GPS\/GNSS, DAB, FM\/AM, and SXM antennas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"_3f534fa0 _505b3e07 _93e2ccf0\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul class=\"_3f534fa0 _505b3e07 _93e2ccf0\">\n<li>Specify antenna concepts (roof, glass, shark-fin, bumper, mirror, etc.) considering styling, vehicle packaging, cost, and manufacturing constraints<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"_3f534fa0 _505b3e07 _93e2ccf0\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul class=\"_3f534fa0 _505b3e07 _93e2ccf0\">\n<li>Define interfaces between antennas, antenna amplifiers, cabling, and radio tuners<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Vehicle Integration &amp; Performance<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"_3f534fa0 _505b3e07 _93e2ccf0\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul class=\"_3f534fa0 _505b3e07 _93e2ccf0\">\n<li>Lead vehicle-level antenna integration, placement, grounding, and interaction with BIW, trims, and glass<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"_3f534fa0 _505b3e07 _93e2ccf0\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul class=\"_3f534fa0 _505b3e07 _93e2ccf0\">\n<li>Ensure optimal system performance in real-world vehicle environments, including mitigation of detuning, coupling, and noise<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"_3f534fa0 _505b3e07 _93e2ccf0\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul class=\"_3f534fa0 _505b3e07 _93e2ccf0\">\n<li>Work closely with radio tuner teams to optimize system sensitivity, selectivity, and robustness<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>DFMEA, DVP &amp;
