Bringing Ingenuity to Life.<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><strong>Job Description<\/p>\n<p><\/strong>An example of some key technologies for our current projects are Software Defined Radio, high-speed networking and \u2018hardsec\u2019 but clients often approach us with unique challenges that require a creative outlook and an adaptable skill set.<\/p>\n<p>We are looking for candidates with the following technical skills:<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"gflkrc gflkz5 gfllgi\">\n<li>RF Circuit Design and Testing\n<ul class=\"gflkrc gflkz5 gfllgi\">\n<li>Designing and simulating RF circuits (amplifiers, oscillators, mixers).<\/li>\n<li>Experience with PCB layout for high-frequency signals.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on testing with spectrum analysers, network analysers, signal generators.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Antenna Design and Measurement\n<ul class=\"gflkrc gflkz5 gfllgi\">\n<li>Designing, simulating, and optimizing antennas.<\/li>\n<li>Conducting antenna pattern measurements and gain tests.<\/li>\n<li>Wireless Communication Systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Working with protocols and standards (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE, 5G, etc.).<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with modulation schemes and multiplexing techniques.<\/li>\n<li>RF simulation software (ADS, HFSS, CST, MATLAB) for circuit\/antenna\/system design.<\/li>\n<li>Good experience within wider digital electronics and embedded systems engineering fields<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to the full product lifecycle from concept generation through to product release including demonstrable experience of delivering your designs into service \/ mass production.<\/li>\n<li>Possession of a good understanding of the regulatory landscape of the UK, EU and US and a proven track record of designing for compliance with appropriate standards.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills and be comfortable explaining complex engineering concepts to both a technical and non-technical audience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"gflkzy gflkxo gflkxc gflkyo gflkyr gflky0 gflkzf gflfc9 gflkzw gflk7l gflk7p\"><span class=\"gfllfj gflam3 gfliiy gfllgi\" tabindex=\"-1\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\">And the following qualities:<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"gflkrc gflkz5 gfllgi\">\n<li>Someone not afraid to be \u2018Hands-on\u2019 and work with the team to work through challenges from first principles on the bench.<\/li>\n<li>Energy and enthusiasm to take on unfamiliar challenges, coupled with the ability to innovate and think freely.<\/li>\n<li>Enthusiasm to help build the careers of our less experienced engineers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"gflkzy gflkxo gflkxc gflkyo gflkyr gflky0 gflkzf gflfc9 gflkzw gflk7l gflk7p\"><span class=\"gfllfj gflam3 gfliiy gfllgi\" tabindex=\"-1\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\"><strong>Qualifications<\/p>\n<p><\/strong>This is a challenging role, so we expect experience to be reinforced by a strong academic background.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"gflkrc gflkz5 gfllgi\">\n<li>Degree qualified \u2013 a good degree in electronic engineering or a related subject<\/li>\n<li>The ability to gain UK SC security clearance if not already acquired (in practice, this requires sole UK nationality)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"gflkzy gflkxo gflkxc gflkyo gflkyr gflky0 gflkzf gflfc9 gflkzw gflk7l gflk7p\"><span class=\"gfllfj gflam3 gfliiy gfllgi\" tabindex=\"-1\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\"><strong>Additional Information<\/p>\n<p><\/strong>Please note that the interview stages may be subject to change based on the specific requirements of the role.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"gflkrc gflkz5 gfllgi\">\n<li>Quick call with one of our Tech Recruiters \u2013 to discuss your application, the role and PA<\/li>\n<li>Round 1: Either a competency or technical interview (60 mins)<\/li>\n<li>Round 2: Either a competency or technical interview, whichever you didn\u2019t do at first round (60 mins)<\/li>\n<li>Final round \ud83c\udf89: Meeting with a PA leader &#8211; a mini case study and discussion around your client-centricity (60 mins)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"gflkzy gflkxo gflkxc gflkyo gflkyr gflky0 gflkzf gflfc9 gflkzw gflk7l gflk7p\"><span class=\"gfllfj gflam3 gfliiy gfllgi\" tabindex=\"-1\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\">Life At PA encompasses our peoples&#8217; experience at PA.
