They include police, fire and ambulance services across the world as well as critical mining and industrial customers.<\/p>\n<p>We are global leaders in the design, development and supply of innovative communications solutions in multiple market segments including emergency services. We are immersed in the transition from TETRA to LTE ESN services and developing challenging\/complex radios (vehicle based and handheld devices with a vast array of support accessories) to support our customers.<\/p>\n<p>We are seeking an RF engineer to play a pivotal role developing innovative products, leveraging their experience in RF systems\/electronics development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in RF product development, enjoy problem-solving, and be an excellent communicator.<\/p>\n<p>Come and join Sepura Ltd at an exciting time of growth and progress your career within this product focused company, based in Waterbeach, Cambridge defining the next generation of communication devices.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Role<\/p>\n<p><\/strong>The role is a product development\/maintenance role and will include:<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ajrk2c ajrk8k ajrluf\">\n<li>Component evaluation, and sourcing<\/li>\n<li>Support on design (down to discrete component level)<\/li>\n<li>Integration with Digital, Audio, and MMI subsystems<\/li>\n<li>Circuit simulation<\/li>\n<li>Test definition and documentation<\/li>\n<li>Validation of designs<\/li>\n<li>Root cause analysis of failures with updates to design to resolve faults<\/li>\n<li>Schematic creation and PCB layout supervision<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"ajrk8d ajrk3r ajrk3b ajrk5j ajrk5z ajrk6r ajrk7r ajrgdi ajrk8b ajrle8 ajrlfc\"><span class=\"ajrllu ajraxz ajrjrc ajrluf\" tabindex=\"-1\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\">This role may require some travel, so the successful candidate will need a full, clean driving license and their own car and be able to travel overseas. Travel expenses will be covered.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What You Need To Succeed<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><strong>Behaviour<\/p>\n<p><\/strong>As an RF Engineer you will be expected to be able to verify designs, identify product issues and resolve complex engineering challenges with proactive presentation of solutions. In addition, you will be involved in component selection and designs with support from senior engineers as required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ajrk2c ajrk8k ajrluf\">\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"ajrk8d ajrk3r ajrk3b ajrk5j ajrk5z ajrk6r ajrk7r ajrgdi ajrk8b ajrle8 ajrlfc\"><span class=\"ajrllu ajraxz ajrjrc ajrluf\" tabindex=\"-1\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\">E<strong>xperience and Technical Skills<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ajrk2c ajrk8k ajrluf\">\n<li>Understanding of RF systems and technologies, including design, simulation, and testing<\/li>\n<li>Proven hands\u2011on design experience with practical engineering intuition<\/li>\n<li>Good problem-solving and analytical abilities.<\/li>\n<li>Radio product development\/integration up to 6GHz, ideally within the telecommunications or critical communications industry.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent time management and communication skills, with a history of delivering projects\/tasks on time and with high quality.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"ajrk8d ajrk3r ajrk3b ajrk5j ajrk5z ajrk6r ajrk7r ajrgdi ajrk8b ajrle8 ajrlfc\"><span class=\"ajrllu ajraxz ajrjrc ajrluf\" tabindex=\"-1\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\"><strong>Core RF Expertise &#8211;
