Our investment in high-calibre staff, leading-edge technology and a world-class manufacturing facility underpin our growth strategy and our aim to be a world-class supplier of high-frequency products and solutions.<\/p>\n<p>We are looking for an experienced <strong>RF Test Engineer<\/strong> to join our growing engineering team.<\/p>\n<p>This is a hands-on RF test development role, working closely with Engineering and Production teams to develop, implement and maintain automated test solutions for a range of products, from initial concept through to volume production.<\/p>\n<p>You will play an important role in developing and improving test capability, resolving technical issues and ensuring test solutions meet defined technical, quality, cost and delivery requirements.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"d7ildd d7iljl d7il6v\">\n<li>Develop and maintain automated RF test solutions using LabVIEW and TestStand<\/li>\n<li>Utilise RF test equipment and measurement techniques to develop, verify and maintain test capability<\/li>\n<li>Investigate, diagnose and resolve technical issues relating to test systems and equipment<\/li>\n<li>Support the complete test solution lifecycle, including requirements review, system design, instrumentation selection, development, implementation and validation<\/li>\n<li>Analyse test data and prepare technical reports and presentations for internal teams and customers<\/li>\n<li>Ensure test solutions are properly documented, including specifications, operating instructions and supporting technical information<\/li>\n<li>Plan and manage own workload to meet project deadlines, reporting progress, risks and issues to relevant project teams and team leaders<\/li>\n<li>Support the implementation of engineering changes, training and ongoing test system improvements<\/li>\n<li>Work collaboratively with Engineering, Production and other internal teams to ensure effective test solutions are delivered<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"d7ilje d7ilo4 d7ilis d7igoj d7iljc d7ilrg d7ilrk\"><span class=\"d7il28 d7iayi d7ij2d d7il6v\" tabindex=\"-1\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\"><strong>Requirements<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><strong>Essential:<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"d7ildd d7iljl d7il6v\">\n<li>A relevant Engineering degree or equivalent combination of qualifications and practical experience, together with relevant RF experience<\/li>\n<li>Strong practical measurement and diagnostic skills using electronic and RF test equipment at microwave frequencies and above<\/li>\n<li>Practical experience developing automated test solutions using LabVIEW and TestStand<\/li>\n<li>Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage priorities, work independently when required and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external customers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"d7ilje d7ilo4 d7ilis d7igoj d7iljc d7ilrg d7ilrk\"><span class=\"d7il28 d7iayi d7ij2d d7il6v\" tabindex=\"-1\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\"><strong>Desirable:<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"d7ildd d7iljl d7il6v\">\n<li>Experience working within a volume electronics manufacturing environment<\/li>\n<li>Practical experience with serial communication protocols such as I2C and SPI<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"d7ilje d7ilo4 d7ilis d7igoj d7iljc d7ilrg d7ilrk\"><span class=\"d7il28 d7iayi d7ij2d d7il6v\" tabindex=\"-1\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\">If you have strong RF engineering experience and enjoy developing practical test solutions in a technically challenging manufacturing environment, we would like to hear from you.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Benefits<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"d7ildd d7iljl d7il6v\">\n<li>Salary benchmarked to attract the strongest candidates<\/li>\n<li>37.5 hour working week<\/li>\n<li>25 days&#8217; holiday plus public holidays, with the option to buy up to 5 additional days<\/li>\n<li>Contributory pension scheme with up to 8% company contribution<\/li>\n<li>Life Assurance<\/li>\n<li>Income Protection Insurance<\/li>\n<li>Save As You Earn (SAYE) share scheme<\/li>\n<li>Electric Vehicle (EV) scheme<\/li>\n<li>Cycle to Work scheme<\/li>\n<li>Volunteering day<\/li>\n<li>Learning and development opportunities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"d7ilje d7ilo4 d7ilis d7igoj d7iljc d7ilrg d7ilrk\"><span class=\"d7il28 d7iayi d7ij2d d7il6v\" tabindex=\"-1\" data-testid=\"expandable-text-box\"><strong>Want to Know More?<\/p>\n<p><\/strong>This advert provides an overview of the role and its key responsibilities.
