RF Engineers are responsible for working with equipment that transmits and receives signals \u2014 such as antennas, amplifiers, and communication modules \u2014 ensuring they perform correctly, reliably, and safely in complex environments like space.<\/p>\n<p>In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing <strong>RF testing procedures<\/strong> to measure things like signal strength, frequency response, power levels, interference, and system performance. You will work with highly specialised test equipment in a laboratory environment, contribute to design reviews, identify and troubleshoot signal or hardware issues, and support engineers in qualifying products for launch-readiness.<\/p>\n<p>You will also play a key role in ensuring all systems meet <strong>international compliance standards<\/strong> (e.g. ETSI, FCC) and work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team to support ongoing commercial satellite programmes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Your main responsibilities will be:<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct <strong>RF and EMC testing<\/strong> on satellite subsystems and equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Support<strong>validation and verificatio<\/strong>n processes for high-tech space applications.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the development of test plans and standard operating procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Work on a <strong>shift basis (AM\/PM rotation)<\/strong> to support 24\/7 lab operations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>You are&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Passionate about engineering<\/li>\n<li>result-oriented<\/li>\n<li>proactive<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Experience, skills and qualifications required:<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>Strong background in <strong>RF Testing<\/strong> with hands-on experience in consumer product testing, SAR, and EMC.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in <strong>lab environments<\/strong> or test facilities<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work <strong>on-site in Portsmouth, 5 days a week<\/strong> with AM\/PM shift flexibility.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Information<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Why join us?<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We foster a community of dually talented individuals who are both entrepreneurs and technology specialists.
