{"id":698,"date":"2025-10-13T14:16:17","date_gmt":"2025-10-13T14:16:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theemcnews.co.uk\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=698"},"modified":"2025-11-13T00:17:52","modified_gmt":"2025-11-13T00:17:52","slug":"seasonal-senior-lab-technician-emc","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/theemcnews.co.uk\/?post_type=job_listing&p=698","title":{"rendered":"Seasonal Senior Lab Technician &#8211; EMC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Overview<\/p>\n<p><\/strong>Element has an opportunity for a Senior Lab Technician to join our rapidly expanding Connected Technologies business at our state-of-the-art laboratory in Surrey Hills, Guildford.<\/p>\n<p>As a member of our EMC Testing team, you will perform a variety of testing assignments to ensure cutting edge consumer electrical devices meet specific EMC testing standards and are safe for manufactures to bring to market.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare material specimens for testing<\/li>\n<li>Perform tests as directed by customer specifications<\/li>\n<li>Operate under the supervision of a more senior test technician and\/or a Department Manager<\/li>\n<li>Gather and record test data<\/li>\n<li>Construct and maintain various test fixtures and other laboratory equipment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills \/ Qualifications<\/p>\n<p><\/strong>Key Skills<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Working knowledge of laboratory safety<\/li>\n<li>HS diploma or GED certificate preferred.
