Building on the EMC laboratory opened in 2024, the expansion adds automotive testing capabilities in the region while expanding CSA Group\u2019s global EMC services.<\/p>\n<p>The new facility adds dedicated automotive testing infrastructure, including:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; 3 EMC Chambers \/ 3 Shield Rooms \/ 1 Reverberation Chamber: The laboratory is equipped to handle EMC testing across a broad range of automotive components.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Targeted Automotive Component Testing: The facility is designed to test high-voltage components for electric vehicles (EVs), including ICCU, LDC, OBC, BMS, and more, as well as low-voltage automotive electrical components such as clusters, motors, ECUs, TCUs, ACUs, AVN systems, switches, headlamps, DRLs, rear lamps, sensors, and others.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe automotive industry is evolving at an unprecedented pace, with increasing electrification and complexity demanding rigorous testing solutions,\u201d said Frances Hung, Senior Vice President of CSA Group. \u201cBuilding on existing footprint in Yongin, this new automotive EMC facility allows us to provide our customers in Korea and across Asia with specialized, cutting-edge services tailored to their unique needs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>CSA Group opened its Yongin EMC facility in 2024 with a focus on commercial products and medical devices, including a medical robotics testing lab.
