The W\u00fcrth Elektronik lab at its Quality Design Center (QDC) Asia in Shenzhen has been awarded the world\u2019s first TDAP Stage 2 certificate for the product \u201cchoke for suppressing electromagnetic interference<\/a>\u201d by VDE Pr\u00fcf- und Zertifizierungsinstitut GmbH. The certificate entitles W\u00fcrth Elektronik to conduct tests in its own lab under the supervision of VDE experts. VDE recognizes the results, and successful tests can lead to VDE certification.<\/p>

The VDE Institute\u2019s Test Data Acceptance Program (TDAP) accelerates the certification process and reduces time to market. Under the certification, the Shenzhen lab is permitted to conduct acceptance testing of W\u00fcrth Elektronik\u2019s common-mode<\/a> chokes in accordance with IEC<\/a> 60938. The certificate was presented to Yangyang Chen, Head of the Shenzhen facility, at a ceremony in Offenbach.<\/p>
