GRL Platform Solutions<\/a>, a global leader in test solutions for connectivity, is pleased to announce the launch of the EMI\/EMC Chamber Ready Type-C\u00ae USB-PD Dual Role Power & Data Stimulus (CR-DPWR)<\/a>, a dedicated power loading and sourcing solution designed for accurate and reliable EMI\/EMC compliance testing of USB Power Delivery (USB PD) devices. Supporting power loading and sourcing up to 100 W, the CR-DPWR enables engineers to create realistic worst-case operating conditions for USB Type-C\u00ae devices, including chargers, laptops, tablets, smartphones and other consumer electronics.<\/p>

As USB Type-C\u00ae and USB Power Delivery continue to expand across a wide range of consumer and computing products, manufacturers face increasing requirements to validate electromagnetic compatibility under realistic operating conditions.
