A Eurofighter Typhoon is undergoing electronic warfare and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing inside a radio-frequency anechoic chamber at BAE Systems’ flight testing facility in Warton, Lancashire. This specialized facility subjects every radar, radio, jammer, and electronic subsystem to rigorous electromagnetic testing to verify mutual interference immunity and interoperability, critical validation for the aircraft’s Praetorian defensive suite and the new ECRS Mk2 radar’s electronic warfare capabilities.
